Apex Council of Parents of Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in Maharashtra.

Parivaar Sahyadri is the Apex Council of Parents of Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PwIDDs) is the Maharashtra State Federation of parents’ associations and non-profit organizations working for their rights, dignity, inclusion and empowerment.

With 47 member organizations across Maharashtra and Goa, we work for persons with intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities, and support individuals and families through advocacy, awareness, empowerment and community inclusion.

For more than a decade, Parivaar Sahyadri has been advocating for rights, education, healthcare, social security, livelihood, employment and lifelong support for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

PARIVAAR Sahyadri is the Apex Council of Parents of Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PwIDDs) in Maharashtra.

We are a federation of parent associations, self-advocates, professionals, and organizations working together to ensure that every person with intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities enjoys dignity, equal opportunities, and full participation in society.

For more than a decade, Parivaar Sahyadri has been advocating for rights, inclusion, healthcare, education, social security, livelihood, and lifelong support for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Maharashtra.

Parivaar is a National Confederation of Parents’ Organisations (NCPO) and has a proven past record of achievements working for the Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disability (PwIDD).

Parivaar helps us connect with all the parents, caregivers, professionals, experts, self-advocates and representatives of member organisations across Bharat (India).

We unite to deliberate, learn, share experiences and strengthen the collective movement for the rights, dignity, inclusion and empowerment of persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
